Week 16 Challenge – The Crazy Cardio Challenge!
Sixteen Weeks! This challenge marks the end of 4 months if you’ve been following these weekly challenges from Week 1!
And this week, it’s all about sharing your progress. The week 16 Challenge is titled “The Crazy Cardio Challenge!” and here’s what we’re going to do:
Every day, get out and do some cardio. Do as much as you can – even if it means just 20 minutes… but do something! At the end of your cardio session, write down the day and time of day, exactly how many minutes of cardio you did that day, for how long you did cardio, and record how you felt afterwards.
Here’s an example:
- Day & Time: Monday, 10:00 a.m.
- Exercise: StairMaster at Level 10
- Time: 30 minutes
- Feeling: Accomplished
- Day & Time: Tuesday, 8:00 a.m.
- Exercise: Jogging outside
- Time: 40 minutes
- Feeling: Energetic!
By the end of the week (7 day in), tally up your total time and write it down. Then, share this number on the ChristinasFitness Facebook Page and share your results with everyone else who participated in this challenge!

You’ll also probably notice that your post-workout feelings are pretty positive (unless you have a general pessimistic outlook on life :P). Exercising releases endorphins, which help regulate your emotions and make you feel happy, euphoric and sometimes even “high!”
Before you begin this weeks challenge, here are a few tips to consider:
- Weigh yourself before you begin this challenge
- Stay off the scale until the week is over
- Make sure you drink PLENTY of water
- Make sure you eat healthy – as obvious as this is, don’t let a cheat day sabotage your challenge!
- Send me your height and weight, activity done and for how long and I will tell you how many calories you’ve burned! *
